My Background

About Me

My name is Kai Klein, and I am a senior at Loyola High School in Los Angeles. I am proud to be the founder and director of operations at Filo Connect, a project driven by my passion to give back to the Philippines, where much of my family lives. Growing up as an athlete, I’ve experienced the powerful impact sports can have, not just in building physical skills but also in instilling confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Unfortunately, many schools in Manila and surrounding areas lack the resources needed to support their young athletes' dreams. Through Filo Connect, I hope to bridge this gap. We organize drives to collect clothing and sports gear, ensuring that every donation goes directly to underserved communities in Manila. By providing essentials that athletes need, my goal is to inspire kids to pursue their passions without barriers.
